How do I update the software on my Brenau computer?
If you are on the Brenau network, we have a tool you can use to automatically install updates for all software installed on your computer. The procedure is as follows:
1. Close all open programs on your computer.
2. Open an Internet browser (IE, Firefox, Chrome, etc.)
3. Navigate to: http://archive.brenau.edu/patchme/ and click PATCH ME
4. Wait approximately 15 minutes for all patches to install
5. At the end of the process your computer should reboot automatically and all updates should be complete
Please let us know if you have any problems with this procedure. It is recommended you do this over your lunch break or another time you will not be using the computer for an extended period.
