Making Recordings In Canvas

If you are having trouble recording in Canvas or receive the error message: Flash required to record video, these steps will help you troubleshoot the problem:

GOOGLE CHROME WEB BROWSER

By default, your Camera, Microphone and Adobe Flash is disabled.

To enable your Camera, Microphone and Adobe Flash, follow these steps:

Go to your Canvas course
Click on the Padlock icon n the URL address bar of Chrome
Click on Site Settings
Change Camera setting to Allow
Change Microphone setting to Allow
Change Flash setting to Allow
Refresh (reload) the web page in Google Chrome
Try starting the recording again
