Open and or Convert Apple photo format .heic on a Windows computer.

Unfortunately, Apple has decided to use their own file format for photos (.HEIC) and Microsoft is in no hurry to accommodate it. 

Luckily, Google Drive supports the format. Here are two ways to get the .heic to a .pdf format.

1: Open the email containing the file

2: Click the attachment and it will open as a preview in Chrome

3: You can then choose the print icon at the top right and print to a printer, save as pdf, or save to drive. 

1: Upload the file to your Google Drive

2: Click the file in your Google Drive which will display a preview of the doc.
