How do I allow students attach files to discussion posts?

In Canvas, you will set the setting once for the entire course.
First, go into your course and Click Settings

Next, Click the ""Edit Course Details"" button
Then, Click the link ""More Options""
Here, check the box that states ""Let students attach files to Discussion Posts""

Finally, click Update Course Details and you are finished!
