I have an application, which came with my textbook. Can this be loaded on the lab computers?

Answer

The computers in the lab have been loaded and tested with a variety of software for all of our majors. Their performance is optimized through testing and IT is committed to updating the faculty's standard software load which is reviewed yearly.

Textbook software is typically not licensed to add to our computers since you purchased the book. IT has to have authorization to deploy software from the publisher so as not to infringe on copyrighted material. This process may take several weeks and will be done in conjunction with the faculty and their department.

Most publishers have started to offer the text software through the web. Please read the documentation accompanying your text to see if it is online. You can also try to ""Google"" the software/book name to see if it is available.
