Why is are my canvas courses not showing on my dashboard?

The only courses that will show on your dashboard are the ones you have marked with the star icon.  To mark courses, just click COURSES and then scroll to the bottom and select ALL COURSES.  There you will see the complete list of courses to which you are assigned.  Just star the ones you want to appear on your dashboard.
